I wanted to try to make sushi rolls for David and I, which proved to be a HUGE fete. Ugh I have never been to more grocery stores in one afternoon in my life. If I had known about the little Asian market that the nice prepared foods manager in Whole Foods directed me to earlier I would have saved a whole bunch of time, but alas I didn’t find out about until I had already been to two different Publix supermarkets and Whole Foods. I also made a broccoli spring roll (not pictured, maybe David has a picture of that) that we ate along with the sushi.
I made teriyaki chicken rolls, which is comprised of sushi rice, chicken marinated in teriyaki sauce, and asparagus. I made mine with marinated Quorn chick’n breast. I like this product because the ingredients list is much more palatable….literally.
