The Deep…

This is a mash-up of the bridges and choruses of three songs from three Hillsong groups that all released albums this year (2013).

Oceans  (Where feet may fail) – Hillsong United, Zion
Anchor – Hillsong Live, Glorious Ruins
Love Goes On – Hillsong Young and Free, We are Young and Free

The chord progression is connected in all of these songs in the bridge and you can actually fit them together in time singing their individual lyrics. Same church, different worship bands, UNITY in DIVERSITY.

This restrained beauty is simply complex.

The question now is why the connection and why is it being debuted in 2013?

There is hope in the promise of the cross
You gave everything to save the world You love

Love unfailing

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me

Your Name is higher
Your Name is greater
All my hope is in You

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior

Never shaken
Hope awakens in You

Through every rise and fall
We are forever Yours
One thing we know is sure
Your love goes on and on and on

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves

Your word unfailing
Your promise unshaken

And this hope is an anchor for my soul
Our God will stand

Unshakeable

When oceans rise

Ever our heart will seek
Jesus in everything

My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours, and You are mine

From sky to ocean deep
Your love goes on

All my hope is in You

(lyrics are grouped in song with breaks between lyrics and songs)
